System maintenance and support of running systems
In order to reduce the complexity of the SAP basis operation and to accelerate and simplify the tasks of the SAPBasis and to create free capacities, standardisation and automation of the existing activities is required. Details can be found in chapters 7.7 and 9.5 of the Master's thesis.
SAP HANA (SAP High-Performance Analytic Appliance) is an SAP platform based on in-memory technology. With SAP HANA, you can achieve enormous performance increases over conventional databases that were previously unthinkable. This enables you to analyze and evaluate mass data almost in real time without the need for data aggregation.
Update & Upgrade
Another major topic is the migration of SAP systems, both locally from one data center to another and from one operating system to another or from one database type to another. As a rule, the SWPM tool is used here again.
Entry-level employees earn just under 40,000 euros per year. An employee with significant professional experience can look forward to around 90,000 euros. The average salary is 60,000 euros. However, these sums can vary depending on the company and location. The size of the respective company is also important.
