Restrict Application Server Login
Critical authorizations
The function block was obviously not intended for this use, but our procedure does not affect the programme process and we are not aware of any limitations resulting from this use. You can also apply this procedure to other BTEs that pass data in a similar form. However, you should always exercise caution and check whether the application has already created sum records or whether there are other dependencies. Finally, you will need to create a product you have developed (you can define the name yourself) in the FIBF transaction and assign it to Business Transaction Event 1650 along with the customer's own function block, as shown in the following figure. A custom product may include several enhancements. It forms a logical bracket around the extensions and thus provides a better overview. In addition, it allows for a targeted activation or deactivation of the implementations.

You can also use the SU53 transaction to centrally view failed permission checks. Open the transaction and go to Permissions > Other Users or F5 to the User Selection menu. Enter the user whose permissions have failed in the field with the same name. In the results list, you can see permissions that have failed for each user, as in our example, the missing permission to display the AGR_1251 table. You can see that more than one authorization object appears in this evaluation.
Check current situation
Depending on your SAP NetWeaver release status, you must include SAP Note 1731549 or a support package. After that, it is no longer possible to create new users whose names consist only of variants of spaces or non-visible special characters. Changes to existing users are still possible. The customising switch BNAME_RESTRICT, also included in SAP Note 1731549, allows you to control whether you want to allow alternate spaces at certain locations of the user ID.

Customising roles are temporary because of their project nature. Therefore, when assigning users, maintain the end date. You cannot also map transactions manually if you created a role directly from a project or project view. Conversely, you cannot use an existing transaction role in the menu as a customising role. The transactions associated with a customising role are not displayed in the Session Manager or the SAP Easy Access menu, but can only be viewed through the view in the customising.

Authorizations can also be assigned via "Shortcut for SAP systems".

It is supported by the tools from the SAP CO module, which can provide comprehensive evaluations and analyses.

The analysis of the change documents can be accessed using the following methods.
