SAPCPIC: SAPCPIC is not a dialogue user, but is used for EDI usage in older releases (EDI = Electronic Data Interchange); in default, SAPCPIC has permissions for RFC access. However, you should not use this user for them, nor for batch processes, but you must create other users for these applications. Safeguard measures: Lock down the user, change the password, assign it to the SUPER user group and log it with the Security Audit Log.
Repair defective field list in SU24 suggestion values: This function verifies that all the authorization objects used in the permission proposals are consistent, that is, fit to the authorization object definitions from transaction SU21. If there are no permission fields or if there are too many entries, these data will be corrected in the proposal values.
Permissions and User Root Sets Evaluations
Changes to SAP user data should be uncomplicated and fast. Users can make requests for SAP systems themselves. In exceptional and emergency situations, SAP users should be assigned extended authorizations quickly and for a limited period of time. Simplified assignment and control of exception authorizations in SAP systems is required. You can freely and flexibly determine the duration of these authorization assignments. Decisions can be controlled and monitored across systems. Whether it's recertification of SAP users, vacation requests or birthday wishes: all these things can now be processed and managed centrally in one place.
In order to get an overview of the organisations and their structure, we recommend that you call the Org-Copier (in read mode!) for the various organisational fields via the transactions EC01 to EC15. The customising in the SPRO transaction allows you to define the organisation fields and their respective assignment in the corporate structure area.
During go-live, the assignment of necessary authorizations is particularly time-critical. The "Shortcut for SAP systems" application provides functions for this purpose, so that the go-live does not get bogged down because of missing authorizations.
The background job PFCG_TIME_DEPENDENCY or the report RHAUTUPD_NEW is intended for this.
