For training in the rollout phase, the above documents and records proved very helpful. The tool has supported our SAP instructors in user training. The automatic documentation in Word serves as a training manual. Recorded processes are particularly useful for SAP transactions, because no one can remember all the transaction steps of a main process. All areas of work are directly accessible via a table of contents. To answer questions from SAP users not only orally but also in the form of screen recordings, key users and support staff can quickly "film" and publish the processes in question. The user can view both his input and the results in the Personal Navigator. This means that the errors are almost completely eliminated. There are also other offers on the market, but this tool has proven itself in practical use.

Moreover, artificial intelligence has the potential to further reduce the response time for technical questions. We are already working on scenarios to use machine learning algorithms in support. The starting point for all our innovations is always the needs and feedback of our customers. We also involve customers in the development and pilot phases.
Which support level suits you?
Over the last ten years, the company's growth has accelerated once again: In 2008, Safety Control GmbH was acquired in Mühldorf, and in 2013, Böhnke + Partner GmbH in Bergisch Gladbach. From 2013 to 2014, a new production site in India, a new logistics centre in Wuppertal and a building complex with expanded production and storage capacities for the production site in China were created. In 2016, Schmersal founded the new business unit tecnicum for services and at the end of 2017 a subsidiary in Japan.

Then there is much to do before January 2020! The magic word is SAP Support Backbone - the reliable link to SAP. Whether the hot wire to the SAP Support Portal (e.g. hints), the EarlyWatch Alert Reports or the Maintenance Planner everything is located in the Support Backbone Infrastructure. This has been updated by SAP and changes must be made to their system!

Use "Shortcut for SAP Systems" to accomplish many tasks in SAP Support more easily and quickly.
